The idea of my husband being eco-friendly was to not change the light bulb until there was only one left. We could barely see at night. Ha! Just kidding! Repurposing sounds better to me! You know I am obsessed with this blog, so I decided to share four simple repurpose ideas that will help you stay organized in your home.

Repurposing allows you to be creative and eco-friendly while saving money. Repurposing an old, cherished item with character is a great way to customize it and turn it into something else instead of throwing away. I’ve heard it a million times… Turn your trash in treasure!

Idea #1: Transform a frame into an earring holder

Garage sales and thrift shops are great places to find frames. It’s possible that you have one lying around in your garage. Use it as a jewelry display and give it a new color. Laci Jane has created a great tutorial: Repurposed earring holder. She made a video for it.

This idea can be used for:

IDEA #2: Turn a Dresser into Craft Storage

Here’s another way to upcycle something you can easily find. It’s amazing how much a change in paint and hardware can do. Here’s how I repurposed craft storage. The best thing is that I did not spend any money. I reused things that I already owned. They are lined with velvet, so my craft tools fit perfectly.
