How I Cut Costs by Hundreds on Wall Mirrors

These six mirrors cost me less than $100 total (including supplies costs), yet are worth much more. I have had them for at least three years surviving room changes and moves while being used as decorations in different spaces in my new home. They truly were trash to treasure! These six pieces saved me hundreds in wall mirror purchases. Let me walk through what it took.

At Goodwill I found an ugly brown mirror, and was immediately charmed by its shape. Instantaneously I realized it would make an excellent serving tray; spray painted it and added hardware handles for handles; now it sits proudly on my kitchen countertop and is constantly in use!

Not a huge savings, but I really liked the mirror I found at Goodwill; a Target mirror that had originally been bright blue but has since been given its signature silver spray paint treatment to match my decor perfectly.
